After 20 years of exploring and living life as a creative person, painting and designing fulfill my most profound need
to connect to the world and communicate my vision and prayers. As a mixed media artist, I intend to imbue each
brushstroke with emotion, not seeking perfection but to be a witness.

I take inspiration from my surroundings, the California light and its fog, the place a body occupies in space, time, and
culture, the scar on a friend's cheek, and the shadow cast by my dog at the beach. Admittingly so, my exploration of
painting is my long journey to fulfillment.
